The Ganzo G740 knife differs from other models with its quite impressive dimensions. But thanks to its foldable design, it's still so easy to take it with you on a trip outdoors and use it for both standard and more complex jobs. The blade is made of solid high quality 440C stainless steel. This alloy is perfectly balanced in terms of corrosion resistance and metal hardness. Therefore, the knife does not require particularly difficult care: it does not rust when fishing or on a camping trip, it remains sharp for a long time even with constant use. The length of the blade in this model is 9.5 cm. It is sharpened evenly and smoothly throughout its length. The thickness of the blade is also slightly larger than what Ganzo generally offers and is 3.5mm. This powerful blade can easily cut meat, small branches, prepare chips to light a fire. At the same time, the Ganzo G740 knife model fully complies with the standards that allow to say that this knife is not a weapon and is allowed to be used by a wide circle of people.
The handle of the knife has received two reliable G10 fiberglass plates. Its degree of security is completely sufficient for a knife that will be used for hunting and tourist purposes. A steel clip is attached to the handle, which helps to hold the knife on a belt so that it does not get lost. In addition, there is the possibility of placing a strap for insurance on the wrist or on the strap of a backpack. The color of the handle in this model can be black, orange or green. Also in the handle is a part of the lock for fixing the blade. This is the Axis design mechanism with a metal pin. To open the knife, there is a small pin on the blade.
