Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main characters of Kimetsu no Yaiba, a shōnen genre manga and anime that tells the adventures of a group of demon hunters in Taishō-era Japan. Zenitsu is a young man with blonde hair and golden eyes who joined the Demon Extermination Corps after being trained by Jigoro Kuwajima, a former pillar of the Breath of Lightning. Zenitsu possesses a very cowardly and fearful personality, but when he falls asleep or loses consciousness, he is able to unleash his true potential and use the first form of Lightning Breath, Thunderous Thunder, with incredible speed and precision. Zenitsu is in love with Nezuko Kamado, the sister of Tanjiro Kamado, who became a demon but retained her humanity. Zenitsu travels alongside Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Inosuke Hashibira, another demon hunter who uses the Breath of the Beast. Throughout the story, Zenitsu faces several powerful enemies, such as the Sixth Superior Demonic Moon, Kaigaku, who was his training partner and became a demon. Zenitsu manages to defeat him using the seventh form of Breath of Lightning, the Thunder of Death, which only he has mastered. Zenitsu also participates in the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and most powerful demon, and survives thanks to the help of his friends.
