Akame Murasame is a fictional character from the manga and anime series Akame ga Kill!, created by Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro. She is the protagonist of the story and one of the members of Night Raid, a group of rebel assassins fighting against the corrupt Empire. Akame is a young woman with black hair and red eyes, who uses a katana called Murasame, one of the 48 special weapons known as Teigu. Murasame has the ability to kill a person with a single cut, releasing a deadly poison that stops the heart. Akame is an expert swordsman and assassin, who has been trained by the Empire since she was a child.
