Namazuo Toushirou is a character from the game and anime Touken Ranbu, depicting a wakizashi sword forged by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu, a famous swordsmith of the Kamakura era. Namazuo Toushirou means "Toushirou catfish tail", due to the shape of its blade, which resembles that of a catfish. It was originally a short naginata, but was shortened to a wakizashi. He is the leader of the Toushirou brothers, a group of swords that share the same name and the same creator. He is especially close to Honebami Toushirou, whom he considers his younger brother. Namazuo Toushirou has a strong and determined personality, and sometimes scolds the master to prevent him from burning himself this time. He looks like a boy of about twelve or thirteen, with blond hair and green eyes. He usually wears a white shirt, a red waistcoat, black trousers and brown boots. He also wears a green scarf with a dragon symbol and a sword sheath around his waist. His voice is performed by Saito Soma, and his design is by Teku.
