Hop-up, (High Operation Power Up), is the recoil trajectory of a pellet. By adjusting the Hop-Up, you can increase the range and accuracy of your GBB and VSR-10. As the pellet makes its way through the hop-up bucking, friction creates a back-spin, allowing the BB to follow a straighter trajectory. 5KU has released this concave shaped bucking that will provide the most efficient hop-up.
Using heavier BBs and adjusting the hop-up accordingly will have a noticeable increase in range. The reason is that the long contact patch on the inside does not readjust to fit the profile of the BB, as it is squeezed through the bucking, allowing for a more stable pitch, which in turn allows the pellets to fly straighter and further.
The bore diameter of the 5KU hop up bucking is smaller and tighter than any existing rubber hop up bucking, so it will be tighter increasing fps.
Ideal for GBB / Sniper Rifle from 280 to 400fps, for best performance. 5KU recommends the use of the best quality hop up chambers and pellets.
