The Buck Cavalier is a knife that is part of the EDC collection of the North American brand. This model has a straight-edged drop point or drop point blade, a versatile and versatile type of blade perfect for making a multitude of cuts, making the most of the work surface.
The Buck Cavalier knife blade is made of a modified 440A stainless alloy, more specifically with 7Cr17MoV steel, which gives it great strength and resistance to wear, with a final hardness of 54-57 on the Rockwell scale.
Its scales, made of gray anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inlays, provide excellent resistance to impacts and humidity. Carbon fiber is a very resistant material as well as light, two aspects that give an extra value to the Buck Cavalier knife.
Buck's Cavalier knife incorporates a Frame Lock, a lock similar to the Liner Lock but that uses part of the handle to lock the blade, which in addition to reducing its weight, provides extra security against unwanted accidental openings or closings. This type of lock is stronger and thicker than the Liner Lock, but its operating mechanism is much easier and more intuitive and does not require any additional maintenance.
